Degree-seeking programs at accredited institutions. Medical Center employees must submit through the Workday Education Benefit process. Non-taxable up to $5,250/year (IRS Pub. 970).
Travel
Conference Travel
Travel expenses for approved conferences per institutional guidelines. Overnight travel requires a pre-approved Travel Authorization (TA) in PeopleSoft before the travel date.

Non-Reimbursable
Routine clinical equipment, scrubs, stethoscopes, personal electronics, everyday work supplies, and items without a clear educational purpose.
Manager approval required before submitting any reimbursement request. Funds do not roll over year to year. For eligibility questions, consult your manager. For requests in process, contact RHEALTHAP@uvahealth.org.
