The Center for Advanced Practice at UVA is the institutional leadership structure that works diligently to serve advanced practice providers across UVA Health. APP leaders understand and embody the APP role, serve as liaisons to clinical leaders across departments and disciplines as well as support the communication pipeline necessary between front-line team members and institutional leadership. UVA CAP directors and managers also set performance expectations and facilitate professional development through opportunity and connection.
