Lecture Series
The APP Lecture Series is an hour-long multidisciplinary lecture for the acute care provider. Lectures are recorded and a link is emailed to the APP group at large for participants who are unable to attend. CME credit expires after 30 days.
- Held in the Blue Ridge / Shenandoah Conference Room (Expansion building on the 4th floor adjacent to the South Tower)
- Most Fridays from 1:00pm - 2:00 pm (*subject to change)
- In-person or virtual attendance. Lecture content and WebEx Link is emailed out weekly
- 1 hour of AMA Category 1 CME credit awarded, available for 30 days

Simulation
The APP Fellowship program hosts multiple high-fidelity “critical event” simulations for the critically ill or decompensating patient delivered and facilitated by senior APP clinicians and School of Medicine simulation specialists. Simulations are approximately 10-20 minutes in length followed by a comprehensive debriefing session by a specially trained debriefing personnel. Sessions are held once per month for two hours and are an excellent means of elevating your clinical practice.
- Held in the UVA School of Medicine Simulation Lab
- First Friday of each month from 10:00am - 12:00pm (*subject to change)
- In-person attendance only
- 2 hours of AMA Category 1 CME credit awarded, available for 30 days
- Limited space available. Priority given to novice acute care providers

Skills Labs
The APP Fellowship program hosts skills sessions for the APP acute and critical care clinician. Skills labs are held once per month consisting of a 1 hour didactic lecture followed by 3 hours of hands-on skills sessions by a proctored team.

Claiming CME's
How to Complete Evaluations and Print Certificates:
1. Navigate to https://cmetracker.net/UVA in your web browser.
2. From the list, select “CE Certificate – Eval for Credit.”
3. Sign in and click “Continue”. If you are a new user, follow instructions to log in and set up your password. Please enable pop-ups for this site.
4. Enter the 6-digit Activity Code provided to you, then click “Submit” and “Continue”. The evaluation for this educational activity should open.
5. Complete your evaluation and click “Done.”
6. The Certificate Preparation page should open. Enter the number of credits you wish to claim for attending this activity. Click “Submit.”
7. Click “Print Certificate,” or you can access your certificate later by visiting the website.
8. To access your certificate later, visit the website: www.cmevillage.com. Click “Learning Portal”, sign in at the top of the page, and click “Credit History & Past Certificate.”
